Using Raisin
What does Raisin do?
Raisin is a training app for men’s sex lives. Pick a program: Last Longer, Stronger and Calmer, First Time, Desire and Drive, or Better Together. Each day there is one short session: a lesson, a timed drill, a reflection or a check-in. Two to twelve minutes. The app runs the timers and the cues. You do the practice.
Raisin Pro adds every program, every drill and Ask Raisin, an AI coach. Raisin is education, not medical care, and it is for adults 18 and over.
Reminders are not arriving.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server. Check these in order:
- In Raisin, open Settings → Reminders and make sure they are on, at the time you want.
- In iOS, open Settings → Notifications → Raisin and turn on Allow Notifications.
- A Focus mode (Sleep, Do Not Disturb, Work) can silence Raisin. Add Raisin to that Focus’s allowed apps, or schedule the reminder outside it.
- If Raisin is in your Scheduled Summary, reminders wait for the summary time. Take it out of the summary to get them at the set time.
- Open the app now and then. iOS can drop pending reminders for apps that have not been opened in a long time. Opening Raisin schedules the next month again.
Reminders are discreet on purpose. They never mention sex, erections or what the app is for.
How do I lock the app?
Open Settings → App lock and turn it on. Raisin then asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your iPhone passcode when you open it, and again when you come back after a minute away.
Your iPhone does the check. Raisin never sees your face, your fingerprint or your passcode. If Face ID does not recognize you, enter your passcode. To turn app lock off, unlock first, then switch it off in the same place.
Does my partner need the app?
No. Partner sessions run from your phone. Some sessions are built for two; the app tells you which, and every one of them has a solo version if your partner is not up for it that day. Raisin never contacts your partner.
Your subscription
What is in Raisin Pro, and what does it cost?
Raisin Pro unlocks all programs, all guided drills and Ask Raisin. Two plans, billed through Apple:
- Yearly: $59.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Monthly: $14.99 per month.
Both renew automatically until you cancel. The free trial turns into a paid yearly subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Full details are in the terms.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you subscribed but Raisin is not showing Pro, for example after reinstalling, on a new iPhone, or after deleting your data:
- Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you subscribed with.
- In Raisin, open Settings → Subscription and tap Restore purchases.
Pro follows your Apple Account, so it comes back. Your progress does not, if you deleted your data. Still not working? Email us with the date you subscribed and we will help.
How do I cancel?
Apple manages Raisin Pro subscriptions. On your iPhone:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Raisin Pro.
- Tap Cancel Subscription, or Cancel Free Trial.
Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal or trial end date to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and neither does deleting your data.
Apple handles all refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Privacy and safety
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings → Delete my data and confirm. Everything tied to your device is deleted from our servers within 24 hours: answers, check-ins, logs, assessments and coach conversations. The app resets. It cannot be undone.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your data from our servers, and deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. If you no longer have the app or the phone, email us and we will delete within 30 days. Details are in the privacy policy.
Is Raisin medical care?
No. Raisin is education and behavioral training. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it never suggests a drug or a dose. The check-ins are adapted from screening questions doctors use; a score is not a diagnosis.
Erection and ejaculation problems can have physical causes, and some of them matter for your heart. If yours is persistent, painful or sudden, see a doctor. The safety page lists the signs, and why.
Someone under 18 is using Raisin.
Raisin is for adults only. If you think someone under 18 has used it, email us. We will delete their data.
What if I am in crisis?
Please do not wait for a reply here. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, or you are in crisis:
- In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), any time.
- Outside the US, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line near you.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
Raisin is not a crisis service, and email is not read around the clock.
Ask Raisin, the coach
What can I ask the coach?
Anything a good coach would answer: how a technique works, what to do after a rough night, how to bring something up with your partner, what a doctor would call something and when to see one. It answers in plain words and points you to your program’s next step.
It is an AI, not a person. It tells you so at the start of every session. It can be wrong, so treat it as coaching, not as medical advice.
Why did the coach stop replying, or decline?
Limits. Ask Raisin is for Pro subscribers, and there is a daily cap on messages so the service stays reliable for everyone. The coach tells you when you have reached it and when it resets. Very long conversations may be trimmed from the top.
Declines. The coach will not write explicit content, discuss fetishes or fantasies, give medication or dosage advice, or diagnose you. It declines, says why, and offers what it can do instead. The full list is in the coach content policy below.
Off. If you turned the coach off in Settings → Ask Raisin, turn it back on there. You will see the consent screen again.
Who sees my coach messages?
Your messages are sent to Anthropic, the company whose AI model powers the coach, to generate each reply. That only happens after you agree on the consent screen. Anthropic does not use your messages to train its models under our agreement. Nobody at Raisin reads your conversations unless you report a reply. Details in the privacy policy.
Coach content policy
You agree to this policy before you use Ask Raisin for the first time. It is short because the rule is simple: the coach explains and coaches. It never narrates or role-plays sex.
What the coach will do
- Explain techniques: stop-start, the arousal scale, pelvic-floor training, breathing, attention drills, sensate focus.
- Talk through a rough night without shame, and give you one thing to try next.
- Help you plan what to say to your partner, in words you would actually use.
- Explain what a doctor would call something, and tell you plainly when to see one.
- Give you crisis resources if you mention hurting yourself, and stop coaching until you are safe.
What the coach will not do
- Write, describe or role-play anything sexually explicit or erotic.
- Discuss fetishes or fantasies, or rate bodies or partners.
- Engage with anything involving anyone under 18. If you say you are under 18, the session ends.
- Help with anything non-consensual, or with pickup, pressure or manipulation tactics.
- Recommend a medication, supplement or dose, or diagnose a condition. Those questions go to a clinician.
How to report a reply
Tap the flag on any reply, pick a reason and add a note if you want. A person reviews every report within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we correct the coach’s behavior, remove the content, or, for someone who keeps pushing the coach past these rules, turn the coach off for them. You can also email us with “Coach report” in the subject.
Email us
Questions, problems, feedback or a privacy request. A person reads every message, and you usually hear back within two business days.
Helpful to include: what you were doing, what happened, and your iPhone model and iOS version if something broke. You do not need to include any health details. Please never send passwords or payment card numbers. For a privacy request, put “Privacy request” in the subject. In the app, Settings → Help opens a new email for you.
If you are in crisis, do not email. Call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number. We keep support emails for 24 months and use them only to answer you and fix problems. Privacy policy
