What Raisin collects, why, who helps us run it, and how to delete it. In plain words.

Effective September 25, 2026

The short version

  • No account. Raisin makes a random ID on your phone. No name, email or phone number.
  • What you log stays between you, your phone and our servers. We never sell it, share it for ads or use it for marketing.
  • If you turn on the coach, the messages you type are sent to Anthropic to generate replies. You are asked first, and you can turn it off.
  • Apple handles payments. We only learn whether Pro is active.
  • Delete everything from Settings. It is gone from our servers within 24 hours.

The full policy below is what counts. Questions? Email us.

1. Who we are

Raisin is an iPhone app for men who want more control, confidence and connection in their sex lives. It is made by Anish Polakala, an individual developer in the United States, who is responsible for your information. In this policy, “Raisin”, “we” and “us” mean Anish Polakala.

Raisin is educational. It is not a healthcare provider, and it is not covered by HIPAA. Other privacy laws do apply to it, and this policy is written to meet them.

2. What we collect and why

We collect only what the features you use need. Nothing below is required for the free parts of the app beyond the device ID and your answers to the questions you choose to answer.

Device ID
When you first open Raisin, the app creates a random identifier and stores it in your iPhone’s Keychain. This ID is your account. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number or Apple Account. We use it to keep your progress and your subscription together.
Onboarding answers
What you want to work on, roughly how things are now, and a few questions about your situation, such as whether you have a partner. We use them to choose your program and the numbers we show you.
Daily check-ins
Sleep, alcohol, exercise, mood and whether you did your pelvic-floor set. About twenty seconds a day. We use them to show you your own trends.
Exercise and session logs
Which sessions you completed, how long they took, timer settings, and ratings you enter during drills, such as where you were on the arousal scale. We use them for your progress, your level and what the app shows you next.
Encounter logs (optional)
If you choose to log sex or a solo session: the date, what you tried and how it went, in the app’s own scales. This is optional. Skip it and nothing is recorded.
Assessments
Short questionnaires adapted from screening tools clinicians use. Your answers and scores are stored so you can see change over time. A score is not a diagnosis.
Coach messages (Pro, optional)
If you turn on Ask Raisin, the messages you type and the coach’s replies. See section 6.
Purchase state
Apple tells us whether Raisin Pro is active, which plan, and when it renews or ends, along with Apple’s transaction identifiers. We never see your card, your Apple Account email or your billing address.
Crash and error reports
If the app crashes or a request does not go through, we receive the device model, iOS version, app version and a technical trace of what the app was doing. These reports never include your logs, answers or messages.
Time zone and reminder time
So reminders arrive when you asked for them. Your other settings, such as app lock, stay on your phone.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use them only to reply and to fix problems.

3. What we do not collect

  • No name, unless you sign an email to us.
  • No email address, unless you email us.
  • No phone number.
  • No location, precise or approximate. We never ask for location permission.
  • No contacts, calendar or photos.
  • No advertising identifier. We never ask for tracking permission, because we never track.
  • No Apple Health data. Raisin does not read or write HealthKit.
  • No microphone or camera.
  • No advertising or tracking SDKs, and no data brokers.

4. Where your data lives

Your data is stored on servers run by Supabase in the United States. Some things stay only on your phone: your device ID (in the Keychain), your settings, and reminders, which are scheduled on the phone itself.

Raisin does not sync your logs or messages through iCloud, and it does not store them in Apple Health.

5. Who processes it

Three companies help us run Raisin. Each is bound by an agreement to protect your data and to use it only to provide its service to us. We name them because you have a right to know.

Apple
Runs the App Store and handles every payment. Apple’s own privacy policy covers what Apple collects when you buy a subscription. Apple receives no health data from Raisin.
Anthropic
Provides the AI model behind Ask Raisin. Receives only your coach messages, and only with your explicit consent. Details in section 6.
Supabase
Hosts our database and server code in the United States. Supabase stores data on our behalf and does not use it for anything else.

Nobody else receives your data, except where section 7 says so.

6. The coach and Anthropic

Ask Raisin is an AI coach for Pro subscribers. It is off until you turn it on. Before it sends anything, the app shows a consent screen that names Anthropic, says what is sent and asks you to agree. Nothing goes to Anthropic until you do.

What is sent: the messages you type in the coach, the coach’s earlier replies in that conversation, and the name of the program you are on.

What is not sent: your device ID, your check-ins, your session and encounter logs, your assessment scores and your purchase details.

Anthropic processes your messages to generate the reply. Under our agreement with Anthropic, your messages are not used to train its models. Anthropic’s commercial terms say it deletes inputs and outputs from its systems within 30 days, unless it must keep them longer to enforce its usage policy or to comply with the law.

Turn the coach off any time in Settings → Ask Raisin. That withdraws your consent: nothing more is sent. You can delete a conversation from the coach screen, or everything at once by deleting your data (section 10).

If you report a reply, a person reviews the reported conversation within 24 hours. The coach is an AI, not a person. It can be wrong, and it is coaching, not medical advice. Our coach content policy says what it will and will not do.

7. No ads, no tracking, no selling

We do not sell your personal data, and we never have. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use your health data for marketing, and we do not let anyone else. There are no ad networks, no data brokers, no cross-app tracking and no “partners” who get a copy.

We do not use geofencing, and we never track your location.

We would disclose your data only if a court order or law required it, or to protect someone’s safety, and only the minimum needed. If Raisin were ever sold or transferred to someone else, this policy would still apply to your data, and we would tell you in the app first.

8. Your health data

Much of what Raisin stores is “consumer health data” under the laws of Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, because it concerns your sexual health. Those laws give you extra rights and require a separate notice. Read our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

In short: we collect it only to run the program you asked for, we share it only with the processors named above, we never sell it, and you can delete it any time.

9. How long we keep it

Progress, check-ins and logs
As long as you use Raisin. Deleted when you delete your data.
Coach conversations
Until you delete them or delete your data.
Subscription status
While Pro is active, and for 12 months after it ends, so we can restore purchases and answer billing questions.
Crash and error reports
90 days.
Support emails
24 months, then deleted.
Inactive devices
If a device ID has not connected for 24 months, we delete everything tied to it.
Backups
Deleted data leaves our backups within 30 days.

10. Deleting your data

Open Settings → Delete my data. Confirm, and everything tied to your device ID is deleted from our servers within 24 hours: your answers, check-ins, logs, assessments, coach conversations and subscription record. The app resets to a fresh start. It cannot be undone.

  • Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your data from our servers. Use Delete my data first.
  • Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that in your iPhone’s Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. How to cancel
  • Coach messages already sent to Anthropic are deleted by Anthropic on the schedule in section 6.

If you cannot use the app, for example because you lost your phone, email support@getraisin.app. We delete within 30 days. Because there is no name on your data, we may ask for details that help us find the right record, and we will confirm with you before deleting anything.

11. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • Know what we hold about you, and get a copy in a readable format.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete everything (section 10).
  • Withdraw consent to the coach at any time (section 6).
  • Ask again if we refuse a request, and complain to your state’s attorney general if you still disagree.

You can do most of this yourself in the app. For the rest, email support@getraisin.app. We answer within 45 days, and you will not be treated differently for asking. If we cannot do what you asked, we will explain why. An authorized agent can make a request for you; we may ask for proof that you authorized them and check with you before acting.

12. State privacy rights

California. The California Consumer Privacy Act treats information about your sex life as sensitive personal information. We use it only to provide the service you asked for, and we do not sell it or share it for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. You have the rights in section 11, and we will not discriminate against you for using them.

Washington, Nevada and Connecticut. Your consumer health data rights, including the right to a list of everyone we shared it with and to have it deleted from backups, are set out in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Other states. If your state has a comprehensive privacy law (for example Colorado, Virginia, Oregon or Texas), you have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and appeal. The process in section 11 covers them.

13. Age: 18 and over

Raisin is for adults. You confirm that you are 18 or over when you first open the app, and where Apple provides a declared age range for the account, the app checks it and will not run for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we learn that someone under 18 has used Raisin, we delete their data. If you think that has happened, tell us at support@getraisin.app.

14. Security

  • Everything between the app and our servers travels over TLS.
  • Our database is encrypted at rest.
  • Your device ID sits in the iPhone Keychain, which your device encrypts. App lock adds Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode in front of the app.
  • Coach messages go through our servers, so no API key of ours lives on your phone.
  • Access to production data is limited to the developer and protected by multi-factor authentication.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you without unreasonable delay and within 60 days of discovering it, as the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule requires, and we will notify the FTC where that rule requires it.

15. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, forms or scripts. To show its typeface, your browser loads it from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser details; see Google’s privacy policy. The pages are hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep short technical logs such as IP addresses; see GitHub’s privacy statement.

16. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, such as collecting a new kind of data or working with a new company, we will tell you in the app before it applies and ask for your permission again where the law requires it.

17. Contact

For questions, requests or complaints about privacy, email support@getraisin.app or open Settings → Help in the app. Raisin is made by Anish Polakala, United States.
