Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

health data.

Washington, Nevada and Connecticut treat sexual-health information as consumer health data and require this separate notice. It applies to everyone who uses Raisin, wherever you live.

Effective September 25, 2026

The short version

  • Raisin collects health data about your sexual function because that is what you came to work on. Nothing more than the features you use need.
  • It is shared with three processors only: Supabase (hosting), Anthropic (the coach, with your consent) and Apple (payments, no health data). No affiliates, no advertisers, no sale.
  • You can see it, correct it, delete it, and withdraw consent to the coach, in the app or by email.
  • No geofencing, ever.

This policy is a companion to the privacy policy, which covers everything else.

1. Why this policy exists

Washington’s My Health My Data Act, Nevada’s consumer health data law (SB 370) and Connecticut’s Data Privacy Act treat information about a person’s sexual or reproductive health as “consumer health data”, and require businesses that collect it to publish a dedicated policy. Raisin is an app about sexual function, so almost everything you enter counts. This page is that policy.

Raisin is made by Anish Polakala, an individual developer in the United States. “Raisin”, “we” and “us” mean Anish Polakala. Raisin is not a healthcare provider and is not covered by HIPAA.

2. What consumer health data we collect

Answers about your sexual function and goals
Onboarding questions and short assessments adapted from screening tools clinicians use: for example, roughly how long you last, how firm erections are, how confident or anxious you feel, and what you want to change.
Exercise and session logs
Which sessions you completed and the ratings you entered during them, such as arousal-scale numbers in stop-start practice, pelvic-floor sets, and wax-and-wane or sensate-focus sessions.
Encounter logs (optional)
If you choose to log sex or a solo session: the date, what you tried and how it went. Skip it and nothing is recorded.
Daily check-ins
Sleep, alcohol, exercise, mood and whether you did your pelvic-floor set. These are health data too.
Coach messages
If you turn on Ask Raisin, whatever you choose to type, which may include health information.
Inferences
What we derive from the above: your program, your level, what the app shows you next, and whether a red-flag screen suggests seeing a doctor. We do not infer anything about you for any other purpose.

We do not collect biometric data, genetic data, precise location, or information about anyone else’s health, and we never read Apple Health.

3. Why we collect it

  • To run the program you chose and show your own progress.
  • To run the AI coach, when and only when you turn it on.
  • To keep you safe: the app asks red-flag questions itself and points you to a doctor or a crisis line when your answers call for it.
  • To answer support requests you send us.
  • To fix bugs. Crash reports contain no health data.

We collect only what is necessary for the features you use. We do not use consumer health data for advertising, marketing, profiling for any other purpose, or research, and we will ask for your separate consent before using it for anything not listed here.

4. Where it comes from

  • You. Everything above is what you type or tap in the app.
  • Your device. Time zone, so reminders arrive at the right time. Nothing health-related.
  • Apple. Whether your subscription is active. Nothing health-related.

We do not buy, receive or infer health data from anyone else.

5. Who we share it with

Consumer health data is shared only with processors that act on our instructions and are bound by contract to protect it and use it for nothing else.

Supabase, Inc.
Hosts our database and server code in the United States. Receives all data stored by the app.
Anthropic, PBC
Provides the AI model behind Ask Raisin. Receives only your coach messages, the coach’s earlier replies in that conversation and your program name, and only after you consent in the app. Does not use them to train its models under our agreement.
Apple Inc.
Handles payments and the App Store. Receives no consumer health data from us.

We have no affiliates. We do not share consumer health data with anyone else, except if a court order or law requires it or to protect someone’s safety, and then only the minimum needed.

6. No sale, no geofencing

We do not sell consumer health data, and we will not. Selling it would require your signed authorization, and we will never ask for one.

We do not use geofencing anywhere. We never track your location, and we do not set up virtual boundaries around any clinic, pharmacy or other facility to identify, track, message or profile anyone.

7. Your rights and how to use them

You have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we collect, share or sell consumer health data about you (we collect and share it as described here, and never sell it).
  • Access it, including a list of the third parties we have shared it with and how to contact them (they are the three in section 5).
  • Correct it.
  • Delete it, including from our backups and from our processors.
  • Withdraw consent to collection or sharing, at any time.

In the app

  • Settings → Delete my data deletes everything within 24 hours. Backups are overwritten within 30 days, and we pass the deletion on to our processors.
  • Settings → Ask Raisin turns the coach off, which withdraws your consent to sharing with Anthropic.
  • You can edit or delete individual logs and conversations where they appear.

By email

Write to support@getraisin.app with “Health data request” in the subject. We respond within 45 days; if a request is complex we may take up to 45 more and will tell you. Because Raisin has no accounts, we may ask you to make the request from the app, or for details that let us find your record. We will confirm with you before deleting anything. An authorized agent may act for you; we may ask for proof of authorization.

You will not be denied service, charged more or treated differently for exercising these rights.

8. Appeals

If we refuse a request, we will tell you why. You can appeal by replying to that email within 45 days. A person who was not involved in the first decision reviews the appeal and answers within 45 days. If we still refuse, you can complain to your state’s attorney general: the Washington Attorney General, the Nevada Attorney General, or the Connecticut Attorney General.

9. How we protect it

TLS in transit, encryption at rest, a device ID in the iPhone Keychain instead of a name, and access limited to the developer under multi-factor authentication. The details, and what happens if there is a breach, are in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If we ever want to collect or share consumer health data for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent in the app first.

11. Contact

Email support@getraisin.app or open Settings → Help in the app. Raisin is made by Anish Polakala, United States.
